  • ADHD - Summer Treatment Program Staff 2017

    The Summer Camps Program at Currey Ingram Academy is interested in enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are currently enrolled in a collegiate field of study related to education and are seeking internship credit.​ This full-time position presents applicable experience working with children ages 8-12 in multiple settings. The ADHD-STP provides treatment tailored to each child’s individual behavioral and academic difficulties. Staff members will work within the scope of the program to help students better self-regulate, listen attentively, and refine their social skills. Specific, intensive training will take place before camp begins. In addition to receiving internship credit, staff members will earn an hourly compensation.   • Bus Driver 2016-2017

    The job duties for this position may include driving bus routes in the morning and afternoon and/or driving for field trips and athletic events. The drivers must meet Tennessee DOT requirements for driving buses, as well as, maintain a Certified Drivers License with P (Passenger) and S (Air Brake) endorsements. Experience Required.   • Child Development Center Teacher 2016-2017

    The Currey Ingram Academy Child Development Center is currently accepting applications for the following full time position: Ones Class-Assistant Teacher.
     
    Preference is given to candidates who have experience working with this specific age group as well as early childhood education credentials, or their equivalent.  Responsibilities include overseeing the daily operation of the classroom and working with the other teachers to meet the developmental, physical, and emotional needs of the children in a loving and positive way.

  • Lower School Classroom Teacher 2016-2017

    Currey Ingram Academy is currently accepting applications for a classroom teaching position (Grades K - 4) for the 2016-2017 school year. Teaching responsibilities will include language arts (reading, spelling and written language), math, social studies, science and handwriting. Excellent communication in both oral and written expression and experience with technology are required. Minimum requirements include a degree in elementary education, special education or a related field, with preference given to those with at least five years of experience and/or experience in teaching students with learning differences.   • Middle School Teacher 2016-2017

    The Middle School at Currey Ingram Academy is currently accepting applications for a teaching position for for the 2016-2017 school year. Responsibilities will include teaching English/Language Arts groups with the possibility of support for classes in other subject areas.  Candidates with a degree in reading, English, elementary/middle school education, special education or a related field are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching students with diverse learning styles. About Us

Located in Brentwood, Tenn., just miles from Nashville and Franklin, Currey Ingram Academy is a K-12 independent, college-preparatory day school for students with unique learning styles and/or learning differences. Since moving to this campus in 2002, the school has welcomed families from 33 states and eight countries who cite the school as their primary reason for moving to Middle Tennessee.
