MS Cross Country Season Preview

The 2015 Cross Country season will be a fun one for this middle school group. Loaded with returning runners, and supported by a cast of strong newcomers, the team strives to show the MTAC they are a team to be reckoned with as they are the defending conference champions.
After winning last year’s MTAC Championship, this year’s MS Cross Country team looks to reload with a cast of hungry runners. Many of the top runners from last year’s championship have moved on, but there is a strong group of rising leaders looking to step up and set pace for the 2015 team. Coach Sean Kelly leads the team this year and has commented about their work ethic and drive. Seeing them during practices this year, you can tell there is something special about this group. They love to push each other and help challenge to reach the next level. Whether they win the MTAC again remains to be seen, but one thing this team will show is that they are the prime example for team work. The strong tradition of Mustang Cross Country continues yet again and seems set for years to come.
