Career Opportunities
Admission Director
This full-time, 12-month administrator manages the recruitment, enrollment and retention of all students. Develops and implements all Admission goals and strategies, working closely with the Head of School. Relays and upholds the school’s mission and works closely with the Head of every school Division and department. Afterschool Program Staff (Grades 5-8)
Currey Ingram Academy is currently accepting applications for our PACE after school program (grades 5-8).  Candidates should be creative and enthusiastic; preferably with experience teaching/tutoring children with varied learning styles.  Responsibilities include assisting students with homework, leading recreational activities, and supervising and caring for students. The hours are 3:20 - 5:45 p.m. M, T, H, F and 2:00 - 5:45 p.m. Wednesdays for grades 5-8.  If you are interested in one of these positions, please fill out the online application linked to this page. Child Development Center - Assistant Infant Teacher
The Currey Ingram Academy Child Development Center is currently accepting applications for an assistant infant teacher position.  Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with this specific age group as well as early childhood education credentials, or their equivalent.  Responsibilities include overseeing the daily operation of the classroom and working with the other teachers to meet the developmental, physical, and emotional needs of the infants in a loving and positive way.  Interested candidates are encouraged to complete the online application linked to this page.

Child Development Center - Assistant Pre-K Teacher
The Currey Ingram Academy Child Development Center is currently accepting applications for the following part-time (10 hours/week) position: Assistant Pre-K Teacher.  The hours for this position are 3:30-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning August 4, 2014.

Responsibilities include working with the lead teacher to meet the developmental, physical, and emotional needs of the children in a loving and positive way. Interested candidates are encouraged to complete the online application linked to this page.

Occupational Therapist for Upper Elementary & Middle School (Grades 5-8)
Currey Ingram Academy is currently accepting applications for an Occupational Therapist full- or part-time position in grades 5-8 for the 2014-15 school year. Candidates should have a graduate degree in occupational therapy (OT). Preference is given to candidates possessing OT certification, Tennessee licensure, or eligibility for TN licensure. Responsibilities include occupational therapy, in-class, small group, individual intervention, and consultation, as well as completing assessments, writing Individualized Learning Plans, and attending parent conferences. Preference will be given to candidates who have school-based experience providing therapy to students with diverse learning styles. If you are interested in applying for this position, please fill out the online application linked to this page. Substitute Teachers (K-12)
Currey Ingram Academy is currently accepting applications for substitute teachers for the 2014-2015 school year.  Substitute teachers are required to hold a Bachelor's degree (or higher).  Preference will be given to candidates who hold a degree in education or a relevant subject area and who have experience working with students with learning differences.  If you are interested in applying for this position, please fill out the online application linked to this page. Upper Elementary Teacher (Grades 5-6)
The Upper Elementary (grades 5-6) at Currey Ingram Academy is currently accepting applications for a teaching position for the 2014-2015 school year. This teacher will be responsible for teaching all academics to small groups of students. In addition, the teacher will write Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) goals and attend parent conferences. Candidates with a degree in Special Education are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching students with diverse learning styles. Currey Ingram uses research-based programs that are delivered in a manner that supports a wide range of learning differences and styles.
