Open to students in grades 9-12, Residential Life at Currey Ingram Academy continues the mission of the day school program by providing extended academic support while building independence and promoting responsibility.
Located on a beautiful 83-acre campus, Currey Ingram students participate in a wide-range of outdoor experiences, afterschool activities, athletics, arts and rich traditions such as our Henderson House program that they look forward to all year long.
Mustang Athletics is an educational-based athletics program that provides a competitive and safe environment. Offering both individual and team sports to students in grades K-12, all students are encouraged to participate.
It is through the philanthropy of our donors that Currey Ingram is able to provide life-changing, personalized instruction to support students with learning differences. From the Annual Fund to planned giving, our Community Engagement team is is here to help guide you through the process.

Graduation is an incredibly special day for any student, but it goes without saying that the accomplishment is even sweeter for a Currey Ingram graduate. As you have likely seen with your own eyes, our graduates are not only about to accomplish an important academic milestone, but they also have grown in immeasurable ways both socially and emotionally during their time here. We can't wait to celebrate all that they have accomplished!

The entire student body will circle the quad and cheer on the seniors as they walk by. This is a brief, but meaningful ceremony for our seniors. Since it is outside, parents may attend this event. The walk will begin at 1:10 p.m.
The day begins with the Senior Awards Breakfast at 8:30 a.m., followed by graduation practice. Open to graduates and their family.
The graduation ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. The event will have open seating, and there is no limit on how many guests per family. RSVPs are not required.

"RJ" Robert Stuart Fort
Robert "RJ" Stuart Fort, son of Ashley Sears and Robert Fort, has attended Currey Ingram since the 10th grade. During his time here, he has been an active member of the National Honors Society, Cinematography, and the CIA News. His favorite memory is the Galapagos trip. Outside of school, RJ has earned his Eagle Scout, and enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and concerts. In the fall, RJ plans to attend Lynn University where he plans to major in Film Studies.
Alexander Parker Chouinard
Alexander Parker Chouinard, the son of Sarah and Bill Chouinard, has attended Currey Ingram since the 8th grade. Alex has been an active member of the CIA theater department and the CIA News. He enjoys Dungeons & Dragons, Writing, and Reading in his free time. His favorite Currey Ingram memory is the trip to Spain. In the fall, Alex plans to attend William and Mary University.
Alexandra Visco
Alexandra Visco, the daughter of Shawn and Dave Puncochar and Alex Visco, has attended Currey Ingram since the 11th grade. During her time here, she has participated in cross country, cheerleading, track & field, National Honor Society, and photography. Alexandra’s favorite CIA memories are prom, homecoming, and participating with Mustang Athletics. Outside of school, Alexandra enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her boyfriend, watching TV, and working out. After graduation, Alexandra plans to attend Belmont University, majoring in Elementary Education.
Auggie Costanza
Auggie Costanza, the son of Kelly and Robert Costanza, has attended Currey Ingram since Kindergarten. During his time at CIA he has participated in tennis, Jazz Cats, Singing Stallions, and the Young Filmmakers Club. His favorite memory while at CIA is the last 3 years of high school in Mr. Griffin's mentorship and meeting someone special. Outside of school, Auggie enjoys spending time with his family and his dog. After graduation, he plans to study architecture at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology.
Ben William Kintsch
Benjamin William Kintsch, son of Kori and Neil Kintsch, has attended Currey Ingram since the 11th grade. His favorite memory is 12th grade Mentoring. After graduation, Ben plans to attend Lynn University in Florida.
Brendan Carlos Greene
Brendan Carlos Greene, is the son of Dwanna and Carlos Greene, has attended Currey Ingram since Kindergarten. During his time here, he has been involved in cross country, basketball, soccer, theater, rock band, student council, track, and the CIA News. His favorite CIA memories include trips to Chattanooga and Spain. Outside of school, Brendan enjoys sports, video Games, and hanging out with friends. After graduation, Brendan plans to attend The University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he will major in Communication or Journalism.
Foley North
Foley North, son of Laurel Green and Matt North, has attended Currey Ingram since the 3rd grade. During his time here, he has participated in the National Honor Society, Rock Band, Golf, soccer, theater, running club, dance, and yoga. Foley has several favorite memories from CIA. They include visiting Spain and Ecuador & The Galapagos Islands, playing the drums at the Blue Room and meeting Jack White. His favorite classes have been Mrs. Stellacci and Ms. Cwikla’s. Outside of school, Foley enjoys listening to music, practicing drums, driving, going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and playing video games. Next fall, Foley plans to attend Lipscomb University.
Gunnar Ahlstrand
Gunnar Ahlstrand, the son of Wendy and Eric Ahlstrand, has attended Currey Ingram since Kindergarten. During his time here, he has participated in basketball, theater, rock band, esports, National Honors Society, soccer, and Quiz Bowl. Some of his favorite CIA memories are Mr. Hayden's 7th and 8th grade history classes. Outside of School, Gunnar enjoys lifting weights, music, concerts, hiking, playing video games, and hanging out with friends. After graduation, Gunnar plans to attend University of TN Knoxville where he will major in Computer Engineering.
Henry Russell Taylor
Henry Russell Taylor, the son of Donna and Joe Taylor has attended Currey Ingram since the 5th grade. During his time here, he has been involved in Middle School basketball and soccer, the Upper School golf team, and Quiz Bowl. Outside of school, Henry has participated in ice skating, ice hockey, going to estate sales with his dad, watching his favorite tv shows, and hanging out with friends. His favorite CIA memories include visiting Spain, Ecuador, and The Galapagos Islands. These trips awakened his love of archeology. In the fall, Henry plans to attend Lipscomb University, majoring in Archaeology and minoring in Voice Acting.
Jacob "Stone" Fowler
Jacob “Stone” Fowler, the son of Leslie and Dean Fowler has attended Currey Ingram since the 9th grade. During his time here, he has been involved in weight training and Quiz Bowl. His favorite CIA memory is the Galapagos Trip. In the fall, Stone plans to attend Eckerd College in Florida.
Jake Berryman
Jake Berryman, the son of Tracy and Brian Berryman, has attended Currey Ingram since the 6th grade. During his time here he has participated in Cinematography and Student Council. His favorite CIA memory is The McDonalds elevator in Spain. Outside of school, Jake enjoys coding, gaming, playing guitar, and hanging out with friends. Next fall, Jake plans to attend Belmont University.
Jona Samuel Admomakoh
Jona Samuel Admomakoh, the son of Tim Bongartz and Valerie Adomakoh, has attended Currey Ingram since the 5th grade. During his time here, he has been a part of the CIA theater department. His favorite CIA memories are Glassblowing during the Art Odyssey and Stream Ecology. Outside of school, Jona enjoys hiking, biking, scuba diving, snorkeling, stargazing, drawing, reading, and going on family trips. After graduation, Jona plans to take a gap year.
Kaiden Francisco Espaillat
Kaiden Francisco Espaillat, the son of Luis Espaillat and Kirsten Espaillat, has attended Currey Ingram since the 6th grade. During his time here he has participated in basketball, track and field, soccer, cross country, and rock band. His favorite CIA memory is Homecoming. Outside of school, Kaiden spends a lot of his free time working out. He is also a member of our Res Life community. After graduation, Kaiden plans to attend Nashville State and then transfer to Belmont University where he will be majoring in Criminal Justice.
Kelly Ann Ozier
Kelly Ann Ozier,the daughter of Julie and Andrew Ozier, has attended Curry Ingram since 5th grade. During her time here, she has been a member of the Volleyball and Tennis Teams. Kelly Ann’s favorite CIA memory is the Spain trip. Kelly Ann enjoys drawing, sewing, and listening to music in her free time. In the fall, Kelly Ann plans to attend Belmont University and major in fashion and design.
Leo Patrick Hutton
Leo Patrick Hutton, the son of Daisy and Matt Hutton, has attended Currey Ingram since the 10th grade. During his time here, he has been a member of the CIA News and the E-sports team. His favorite CIA memory is Odyssey. In his free time, Leo enjoys playing video games. Next fall, Leo plans to attend Champlain College, in Vermont.
Maggie Alaina Malcolm
Maggie Alaina Malcolm, the daughter of Denise Malcolm and Michael Malcolm, has attended Currey Ingram since the 11th grade. During her time at CIA, Maggie has been a member of the volleyball team, Student Council, National Honor Society, and Res Life. Her favorite CIA memories revolve around the various conversations had in Mentoring. Outside of school, Maggie enjoys playing guitar, hiking, and reading. In the fall, Maggie plans to attend Furman University.
Mattea Olivia Humphrey
Mattea Olivia Humphrey, the daughter of Andrea and Jon Humphrey, has attended Currey Ingram since the 11th grade. During her time here, she has participated in cheerleading and rock band. Her favorite Currey Ingram memory is the hiking trip out west. Outside of school, Mattea enjoys hanging out with her friends and boyfriend, cheer mates at practice, listening to music, and spending time with family. This fall, Mattea plans to attend Cumberland University.
Preston Parker King
Preston Parker King, son of Kimberly and Emory King has attended Currey Ingram since the 11th grade. During his time here, he has been involved in weight lifting club and the CIA News. His favorite CIA memory is the 2022 Odyssey. Outside of school, Preston enjoys playing video games. After graduation, Preston plans to attend Columbia State where he will major in Engineering.
Regan Kidwell
Regan Kidwell, daughter of Karen Kidwell and Larry Kidwell, has attended Currey Ingram since 2nd grade. During her time here, she has participated in Rock Band, theater, student council, volleyball, cheerleading and tennis. In the fall, Reagan plans to attend High Point University.
Ripley Marie Lampka
Ripley Marie Lampka, the daughter of Jill Pulley and Karsten Lampka, has attended Currey Ingram since 9th grade. During her time at CIA, Ripley has been involved in weight training, basketball, theater, and art. Her favorite CIA memory is The Galapagos trip. Outside of school, Ripley enjoys rock climbing, drawing, and anime. In the fall, Ripley plans to attend Oberlin College where she will major in Psychology .
Sam Abraham Barocas
Sam Abraham Barocas, the son of Adina and Dan Barocas has attended Currey Ingram since the 10th grade.Sam is a National Merit Semi-Finalist Scholar. During his time here, he has participated in the CIA News, weight training and he has served as Captain of the Quiz Bowl Team. His favorite CIA memory is when the bus broke down after the Senior retreat. After graduation, Sam plans to take a gap year.
Sydney Paige Korn
Sydney Paige Korn, the daughter of Stephanie and Stephen Korn, has attended Currey Ingram since the 10th grade. During her time here, Sydney has served as Student Body President, student council, theater, cross country, cheerleading, track, and strength training. Her favorite CIA memory is the hiking trip out west. Outside of school, Sydney enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, traveling, yoga and pilates. In the fall, Sydney plans to attend The University of Tennessee in Chattanooga where she will major in Exercise Science.
Taiyou Thomas Eugenio Ishii
Taiyou Thomas Eugenio Ishii, son of Barbie and Thomas Ishii, has attended Currey Ingram since the 6th grade. During his time here, he has played for the soccer, tennis, and basketball teams, Cinematography, Quiz Bowl, and student council. One of his favorite CIA memories is having Mr.Hayden as a teacher. Outside of school, Taiyou enjoys working out, playing games, gardening, and quail keeping. In the fall, Taiyou will attend Maryville College, where he received a full-ride scholarship.
William "Wyatt" Jackson
William “Wyatt” Jackson, the son of Kristina and William Jackson has attended Currey Ingram since 8th grade. During his time here, he has played tennis, been a member of the CIA News, and the National Honor Society. After high school, Wyatt plans to attend University of Tennessee Martin, where he will major in Art.
