Session Description: Miranda Pool, Currey Ingram's faculty chair for social-emotional learning, will facilitate our first annual Jane Hannah Round Table Discussion. At this live event, Miranda will present effective social-emotional tools and strategies commonly used within the classroom that support student social-emotional development alongside information about the impact research that backs these tools. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about research supporting the value of social-emotional learning to impact students' overall wellbeing and success, to collaborate with fellow attendees about social-emotional needs and supports, and to gain effective and evidence-based social-emotional learning tools and strategies that can be used at home or within other professional settings.
