Session Description: Esports is more than just screen time. First, it is the fastest growing sport in the world. Second, it reaches a large and diverse audience. Third, it is an option for educational-based athletic programs, where this new type of student athlete can gain the benefits of a complete athletic program. During this virtual seminar, you will learn how to implement esports into your school's athletic program, see how to support the esport student athlete, and recognize the benefits that come with this new sport option.
