Students Take Top Honors at VFW Essay Contest

 
Three Currey Ingram seniors in Trevor McKey’s Honors Government class received honors in local VFW Post 1291 Essay Contest, “Why my vote matters.” Mackenzie Wood placed first, Sara Stein placed second, and Braydon Lamb placed third. Tom Belcher of the VFW said Currey Ingram should be commended for how well the students' essays were written. The students were recognized at a ceremony at the VFW on Tuesday.
