Assistant Preschool Teacher
The Currey Ingram Academy Child Development Center is currently accepting applications for the following full time position: Assistant Preschool Teacher.

Preference is given to candidates who have experience working with this specific age groups as well as early childhood education credentials, or their equivalent.  Responsibilities include overseeing the daily operation of the classroom and working with the other teachers to meet the developmental, physical, and emotional needs of the infants in a loving and positive way.  Interested candidates are encouraged to complete the online application linked to this page.

Library Technology (LibTech) Support Specialist
Currey Ingram Academy is currently accepting applications for a Library Technology (LibTech) Support Specialist for the 2014-15 school year.  Responsibilities include assisting in Level 1 tech support, A/V setups and library assistant duties.  Candidates should possess the ability and willingness to share technological knowledge and resources and be able to troubleshoot basic software and hardware issues.

Technology Coordinator
Currey Ingram Academy, an independent, college preparatory day school for students in grades K-12 who thrive best in a smaller, personalized academic setting, seeks a Technology Coordinator beginning June 1, 2014. The primary role of the Technology Coordinator is to facilitate the school’s 1:1 laptop program. Responsibilities include overseeing the imaging, deployment and repair of laptops as well as facilitating support for printers, projectors, interactive whiteboards, iPads, and various software programs. The Technology Coordinator is also responsible for providing basic computer orientation for faculty and staff and may be responsible for providing additional training resources to end users as required.

Upper Elementary Speech Language Pathologist (Grades 5-6)
Currey Ingram Academy is currently accepting applications for a Speech/Language Pathologist for the 2014-2015 school year. Candidates should have a graduate degree in speech/language or communication disorders. Preference is given to candidates possessing ASHA certification, Tennessee licensure, or eligibility for TN licensure. Strong CF candidates will be considered. Responsibilities include speech/language therapy, both group and individual, as well as completing assessments, writing Individualized Learning Plans, and attending parent conferences. Upper Elementary Teacher (Grades 5-6)
The Upper Elementary (grades 5-6) at Currey Ingram Academy is currently accepting applications for a teaching position for the 2014-2015 school year. This teacher will be responsible for teaching all academics to small groups of students. In addition, the teacher will write Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) goals and attend parent conferences. Upper School Assistant Division Head (Grades 9-12)
Currey Ingram Academy, an independent, college preparatory day school for students in grades K-12 who thrive best in a smaller, personalized academic setting, seeks an Upper School Assistant Division Head for grades 9-12, beginning July 2014.  The primary avenues of leadership for the Assistant Division Head are to serve as a member of the divisional leadership team, to help facilitate the academic programs of the school, and to contribute in offering support to the faculty and leadership team, parents and students of Currey Ingram Academy. Responsibilities include assisting with the development, implementation and monitoring of curriculum, serving as the divisional representative to coordinate and gather information needed for SAIS accreditation, organizing new teacher orientation, scheduling (faculty and student class schedules), and assisting with overseeing and implementing programs for promoting the academic expectations and health of the student body.

Candidates should have experience teaching or other educational leadership experience, highly developed technology skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent planning skills and attention to detail, initiative, and collaboration skills.  Experience working with students and families of students with learning differences is highly desired.  Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.  This is a twelve month position.  Interested candidates are encouraged to complete the online application linked to this page.

Upper School Math Teacher (Grades 9-12)
Currey Ingram Academy is currently accepting applications for a full-time teaching position in Upper School (grades 9-12) for the 2014-15 school year.  Responsibilities may include teaching all levels of high school math, including Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus.  Candidates with at least an undergraduate degree in math are encouraged to complete the online application linked to this page.  Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching students with diverse learning styles.
