The Currey Ingram Academy Child Development Center is open to CIA staff and parents, as well as to members of the community. The Center is licensed by the Tennessee Department of Education and offers a year-round, traditional academic curriculum. It is housed on the Currey Ingram Academy campus at 6544 Murray Lane in Brentwood. The program includes infant, toddler and preschool/pre-K classrooms. Part-time and full-time slots (including full-day and half-day options) are available.
Our mission is to develop life-long learners. The Child Development Center curriculum supports a cognitive discovery program designed to allow each child to progress at his or her own learning pace. The program enhances imagination and explores all areas of development. The teachers guide children in collaborative, individual, and specific age-group learning. To enhance classroom learning, our children take daily nature walks and buggy rides. Our beautiful acreage is home to horses, chickens and a creek. Classes plant flower and vegetable gardens for spring and summer. In the fall they jump in leaves and make tracks in the winter snow.
