Middle School Soccer Gaining Momentum

On Monday night, the Middle School Soccer team picked up a huge conference victory at home against visiting Franklin Classical. The team had previously tied the Knights earlier in the season in a back and forth match. With motivation to pick up the win as the tournament is around the corner, the Mustangs dug deep to finally break the deadlock halfway through the second half.

The team had previously tied the Knights earlier in the season in a back and forth match. With motivation to pick up the win as the tournament is around the corner, the Mustangs dug deep to finally break the deadlock halfway through the second half.

Led by strong performances by Tommy Elders, Connor Emily, Jonathan Dumez and Sam King, the Mustangs hit the back of the net multiple times, constantly putting pressure on the Knights' defense. Cole Higgins anchored a strong defensive backline for the home team, as he made save after save to keep the visiting team out of the net.

The team returns to action next week in an away match at Providence Christian Academy.
