CIA to Host Seven Cross-Country Meets This Fall

More than 600 Runners Expected
Mustang Athletics will once again host more than 600 runners for seven K-12 Cross-Country meets this fall. The races will be held on the following dates: Sept. 15, Sept. 22, Sept. 29, Oct. 6, Oct. 14, and Oct. 20.

Traffic and Parking Expectations (see map linked below)
On race days, we expect more than 350 cars and several buses or vans to drive on and off campus between 3:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. Traffic officers will help with traffic flow and parking directions. If you have a child who stays after school for a sport, club or aftercare, or are attending another event during this time, we will work to ensure that you can easily access campus. Please be patient with us. Runner and volunteer safety are our top priorities. If you have a CIA Cross-Country runner in your family, you will receive specific race instructions from your coach. Remember to allow time to park and walk to the starting line, if you are coming to watch your child run.

Race times and distances are as follows:

K-2 boys - 4:30 p.m. (1,100 yds)
K-2 Girls - 4:32 p.m. (1,100 yds)
3 & 4 Co-ed - 4:45 p.m. (1 mile)
5-8 Girls - 5:00 p.m. (1.5 miles)
5-8 Boys - 5:02 p.m. (1.5 miles)
HS Co-ed - 5:30 p.m. (3.1 miles/5K)

Sno-cones, hot dogs, water and Gatorade are available for purchase at each meet. Please direct any questions to Currey Ingram Athletics Director Kelly Fish. Click here for a race map and parking information.
