Middle School: Vocabulary Parade

This much-anticipated Middle School tradition gives students the opportunity to create and display a costume that demonstrates their understanding of classroom content and newly learned vocabulary.

Over the next few weeks, students will develop costumes to present to their peers. ELA classes will also include activities designed to deepen students’ understanding and application of vocabulary. This activity will count as a project grade in ELA.

As students brainstorm costume ideas, please keep in mind that props will not be permitted, and the project should not become expensive or burdensome for families. We are encouraging students to focus on creativity, ingenuity, and innovation as they bring their vocabulary words to life.
