Mustang Athletics is an educational-based athletics program that provides a competitive and safe environment. Offering both individual and team sports to students in grades K-12, all students are encouraged to participate.

Currey Ingram Academy provides a broad range of learning opportunities and professional development that reflect the needs and interests of the community while strengthening the understanding of learning differences.
The school’s 83-acre campus is located in an idyllic, pastoral area of Brentwood, Tennessee, locally known as Beech Creek Valley. The campus is just 11 miles from downtown Nashville and eight miles from the Franklin/Cool Springs area. The unique environment encourages teachers and students to explore all subject areas in new ways, through hands-on learning.
Director of Safety & Security
Charles "Chuck" DeMott serves as the Director of Safety and Security at Currey Ingram Academy. He came to Currey Ingram with a wide range of experience in various safety and security roles.
Mr. DeMott served on active duty with the U.S. Army for seven years, and had a 21-year career in federal law enforcement. He currently holds a U.S. Department of State Instructor rating as a weapons, tactics, unarmed combat, and security operations instructor. He is also a certified State of Tennessee Handgun Safety Instructor, a NRA handgun instructor, a threat de-escalation instructor, and he holds a State of Tennessee Security Guard license. Mr. DeMott is also trained in the use of chemical sprays, CPR, and first aid. He is prepared to respond to a wide range of emergencies including active shooter situations. He maintains all training ratings including semi-annual fire-arms qualifications and de-escalation training.
Chuck has a Bachelor's in accounting from Birmingham-Southern College and a Master's in safety, security and emergency management from Eastern Kentucky University. He has a graduate certificate in homeland security.

Currey Ingram Academy does not allow firearms or weapons of any kind on campus. Violation of this policy could result in expulsion for students or dismissal of a family. Only authorized individuals, in accordance with Tennessee law, may carry weapons on campus.
