Transformational Purpose Statement:
Years at CIA: 12 Dr. Jeffrey L. Mitchell joined Currey Ingram in 2014. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Winnipeg, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of British Columbia, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Special Education from the University of British Columbia. He also earned his Teaching Certification from Simon Fraser University.
He currently serves as a Board Trustee form the Tennessee Association of Independent Schools (TAIS) and previously serves as a Board Trustee for the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) from 2018 to 2014 and on the SAIS Board Accreditation Committee from 2016 to 2024.
In addition to his role as Head of School, Dr. Mitchell teaches a psychology class and serves the Assistant Coach for Varsity Volleyball.
