Years at CIA: 4 Coaching Experience: Miranda Bargdill has been at CIA since 2020 and became the Assistant Athletic Director in 2022. She has been a faculty member in the Lower School and began coaching for the Mustangs in 2021, coaching in all 3 sport seasons. Miranda grew up in Kansas spending most of her time in a gym or on a field as a coach’s kid with 3 brothers to keep her savvy to all the sports over the years. By elementary school, Bargdill’s parents started a volleyball league for girls her age across their county. In high school, Bargdill participated in volleyball, basketball, dance, and track, making team and individual appearances at state competitions including a 3rd place finish in volleyball and 7th place finish in shot put. Bargdill has had the opportunity to coach summer league middle and high school volleyball as well as middle school basketball. Since being at CIA, Bargdill coached MS Volleyball club, MS Girls Basketball, MS and Varsity Track and Varsity Cross Country.
