Adding 'Variety' to Upper School Spring Production

The Upper School Theatre Department will stage "The Spring Variety Show" on Friday, April 12  as part of the Evening of the Arts. The full performances will run on Saturday, April 13 at 6:30 and Sunday, April 14 at 2:30 p.m  in Henderson Auditorium. Admission is free. To ensure adequate seating, please RSVP in advance.
The Variety Show will feature three aspects of acting: recorded, scripted, and improvisation. The recorded acting will be in a visual format of a short film of the Prologue song from the musical Into the Woods. This infamous musical number will showcase our students’ vocal talents and acting abilities. In addition to the movie, students have been working towards producing a one-act play, Check Please written by Jonathan Rand. This hilarious play sheds light on the awkwardness of blind dates but provides hope that there is someone for everyone. Lastly, students will be thinking on their feet while the audience joins in for some improvisation games. Prepare yourself for a night of entertainment and laughs.

Note:
Friday performance will not feature the improvisation scene since it is Evening of the Arts.
Saturday and Sunday performances will feature all three aspects of acting.
Saturday's performance is Senior Night.
