Head Coach, Middle School Cross Country Head Coach, Middle School Track Transformational Purpose Statement: I coach to lead student athletes to experience the growth and transformation of character that develops through perseverance and challenging themselves by being a constant source of encouragement.
Years at CIA: 6 Leahanne Hannewald is in her second year as the head coach for Middle School track. She has also coached Middle School cross country. Coach Hannewald earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in Gifted Education from the University of South Florida. She is a certified K-6 teacher in Tennessee. Ms. Hannewald joined the faculty in August 2014.
