When did you attend Currey Ingram Academy and what year did you graduate?
I attended Currey Ingram from 2002 until my graduation in 2005.
What is your most memorable experience from CIA?
My most memorable experiences were definitely class trips. I especially
remember the Chattanooga camping trip; we had great cabins!
What is your current involvement with CIA?
Although I have been out of the country pursuing my bachelor's degree and am
currently traveling a lot with my job with recording artist, Ke$ha, I want to be
more involved as time allows. I love coming back and visiting with the faculty.
What is one piece of advice you would give to current Currey Ingram students?
I have two pieces of advice: 1) Don't dwell on the little things; it works itself out in
the end; and 2) Listen to Mrs. Hill, the college counselor--everything she ever
told me was correct and true!
Please elaborate on your academic experiences and what did CIA do for you?
I would not have graduated if it had not been for Currey Ingram and the teachers.
CIA has the most amazing teachers, including Mrs. Hill and Mrs. Cruz de Duran.
They are so helpful, even after I graduated. Mrs. Cruz de Duran truly understood
my learning style, and it was at Currey Ingram where I learned how to study and
complete work. After high school, I enrolled at a large university. I soon
discovered that it was not the right place for me; I landed in Dublin, Ireland for an
internship and soon found myself at the Dublin Business School. It was the right
match, and I graduated with honors.
What has been the most interesting and exciting thing you've done thus far in
your life?
I took a chance and moved to Dublin, Ireland on my own for an internship in
wedding and event planning. I then started meeting with school heads and
enrolled at the Dublin Business School.
What was your major?
I graduated with Business Honors in Marketing and Event Management.
What are you currently doing, and what are your future plans?
I am currently working with pop star, Ke$ha as her personal assistant.
Eventually, I would love to manage an artist in the recording industry.
