During the Basketball and Soccer Camp, campers learned about ball handing, shooting and passing for both sports. The All-Sports Camp saw campers experience multiple sports throughout the week, including, basketball, soccer, football, golf, volleyball, tennis, and frisbee, as well as working on speed and agility. Also, during the All-Sports Camp, campers had the opportunity to learn hockey from the Nashville Predators’ Summerfest Tour. They were able to try on hockey gear, learn skills, and play a game, wearing Preds jerseys and equipment.
The daily speaker is one of the highlights every year at Mustang Athletics Sports Camps. Educators, officials, former collegiate players, coaches, and Mustang student-athletes shared lessons with the campers during their mid-camp break. The campers enjoyed hearing about the different character traits one can learn from participating in sports, and their individual sport experiences. Each summer, the guest speakers provide great memories for the campers as they combine their sport skills with character development, to have a well-rounded camp experience.
