Varsity Football: CIA Lose Tough Game

CIA hosted Franklin Classical on Friday night, falling 36-12.
Currey Ingram ran into it's first true test this past Friday night.  The first half saw exciting plays from both sides, but FCS proved they were up to the test, leading at the half 16 to six. The second half started off strong for the Mustangs, but momentum quickly shifted as Franklin Classical seized the lead for good. CIA was dealt their first loss of the season 36-12. Ben Leathers had 57 yards passing. Brock Latham added 71 yards passing and 21 yards receiving. Wayne Hendrix had 131 total yards from scrimmage. The team will look to rebound against The Webb School next Friday evening. Game time will be at 5 p.m.
