Welcome to The Anne Wilson Potter Learning Commons, home to the K-12 LibTech (Library and Technology) team.
The LibTech Department is founded on the knowledge that students today need informed and frequent access to technology and explicit instruction on finding, evaluating, and applying information.

Student-centered Technology
Rather than approaching technology and library skills as subjects, they become a daily part of our students learning experience. Students work with iPads or Chromebooks to complete coursework and expand the classroom. Through use in the classroom students gain proficiency in up to date technology and digital information strategies.

Teacher Support
LibTech Integrationists support teachers through training, selecting resource collections, and evaluating emerging software. They equip teachers to show students how to access, analyze, and apply information resources for their units of study.

Assistive Technology
We work with teachers to support students who use assistive technologies such as text-to-speech, dictation, and organizational tools. We provide students with print difficulties access to audiobooks.

Other LibTech Activities
The LibTech department also provides students with opportunities to engage in technology-rich activities that encourage individual strengths and interests. These activities often include but are not limited to:
  • Virtual field trips
  • Access to a green screen
  • 3D design and printing
  • Coding
  • Robotics
  • Book fairs
