Open to students in grades 9-12, Residential Life at Currey Ingram Academy continues the mission of the day school program by providing extended academic support while building independence and promoting responsibility.

Mustang Athletics is an educational-based athletics program that provides a competitive and safe environment. Offering both individual and team sports to students in grades K-12, all students are encouraged to participate.

Currey Ingram Academy's community initiatives provide a broad range of learning opportunities that reflect the needs and interests of the community while strengthening the community's understanding of learning differences.
Mrs. Miller is scheduling individual meetings with Seniors and their family from August 16-23. Please be reading your email to get that appointment with her scheduled. These meetings will be held to discuss individually with each Senior their college and career plans for this year. Seniors make sure to schedule your appointment! Remember, when requesting recommendations you must complete a recommendation request form for your teacher/counselor and attach your resume. Teachers need to know your deadline for the recommendation, and you need to give them a two week notice. Recommendation forms are in the College Counseling office.

September 1st: Vanderbilt University Visits, College Counseling Center, 1-2 p.m.
September 7th: Belmont University visits CIA
September 7th: The University of Tennessee at Knoxville visits CIA
September 8th: College T-Shirt Day for all high school students and faculty! Wear your favorite college t-shirt in support of our Seniors and College for TN Application Month! Get those t-shirts ready!
September 9th-12th: ACT Testing for Seniors who have requested to take the exam this Fall. (More information on scheduling to come) We are a special testing site so our students test over four days for our new teachers with us this year.
September 13th: College Fair at Lipscomb University. Our Juniors and Seniors will be attending this trip in the morning from 10:15 a.m.-11:15 a.m.
September 14th: Hampden Sydney College visiting CIA from 12:15-1:30
October 18th: PSAT/NMSQT: PSAT testing for National Merit Scholars. This test is only for Juniors who have requested to take this exam.
November 8th-9th: The Pre-ACT exam will be given to all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students.
*As you are scheduling college visits, you MUST complete the College Visit form (to the right) and get that approved with your teachers and Mrs. Miller prior to your visit.

Financial Aid and Scholarships
Each year one of our parent meetings is devoted to the topic of financial aid. A guest speaker is invited to present detailed information to our families. The following links may prove useful:
