She's also your go-to gal for the Spirit Shop, Dining Services help, and more. Click the headline above read a Q&A with Christine McGill.
Name: Christine McGill New Title: Director of Events and Logistics Past title: Director of Annual Giving Where I was born: Michigan My educational background: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University The coolest thing I did in my career/life before coming to CIA: I studied abroad during college in Krems, Austria. I also helped plan and run a golf tournament to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Arnold Palmer's amateur championship win. We raised more than $7 million for the inner-city private school in Detroit that I was working for at the time. Of course another huge highlight was meeting Mr. Palmer. The PGA later reported that we had the highest number of amateur winners ever to play in the same tournament. I chose to work in a school because: I believe providing a good education to our children in this country is one of our greatest responsibilities as adult citizens. I wanted to be a part of making a positive impact on their successes. My greatest wish for CIA is: The ability to continue providing a positive learning environment for children with learning differences who come from all social and economic backgrounds without limitations. What I most want parents to know about my department's role in the life of CIA: Whether you are having coffee with the Head of School or joining us for dinner with 300 other Currey Ingram families, we strive to make each and every event special for you. A fun fact about me that no one knows: My parents own a snowmobile business in Michigan. We sure had a lot of fun growing up!
