Team Carter Splits Their Two WNSL Games on Saturday

Led by great defense and strong will, Team Carter won their first game of the day. In their second, Team Carter fell just short of the victory. 

The team played an unbelievable first game of the day, winning 36 to seven. The hustle and effort was exceptional, and all players contributed. Leading scorer for the game was Casey Sprankle, with 18 points. Brandon Minor chipped in 14 points. Hays Waldrop added 2 points and great rebounding. Jed McElhaney scored 2 points. Kendall Richards had an outstanding game on defensive side. Chase McCarty set some great screens.

 

 

The second game of the day was quite a thriller.  The CIA team led for most of the game, but came up just a bit short at the end, falling 25-21. However, they did not come up short on heart and determination. Casey Sprankle again added eight points, ending with 24 points on the day. Christian Hayes scored his first point of the season. George Walker added two points. Brandon Minor scored four points. Hays Waldrop chipped in six points. Reed Yarbrough contributed with great rebounding. The team plays again on Saturday.
