Team Richardson had a very successful season. I was thrilled to be asked to take over as coach just before our games began. This team of eleven boys with passion, energy, perseverance and talent formed a close bond with each other throughout the season.
Team Richardson had a very successful season. I was thrilled to be asked to take over as coach just before our games began. This team of eleven boys with passion, energy, perseverance and talent formed a close bond with each other throughout the season. They demonstrated growth in skills and character and achieved many personal goals during the season. Our team included Joe Harris, Hays Waldrop, Jack Lewis, River Tannehill, Riley Finucane, Chris Tarquino, Jack McClellan, Andrew Foley, Jimmy Patterson, John Herndon, and Christian Hayes.
Mostly, the team played freestyle and each member was able to play all positions. Team Richardson won all but two games and much fun was had in the process. The final game in Nashville went into overtime and although we lost, the boys played thier hearts out. Following the final game, each team member received an individual medal and we took home the ”For Love of the Game” trophy!
Thank you to all families of Team Richardson. Thank you for your support at the games, your volunteer work and effort transporting students to and from practices and games. Our success is because of you.
