The 2011-2012 CIA Middle School launched the new Cheerleading squad and had an incredible season. These athletes added so much energy to the games, pep rallies, and to the school in general.
The 2011-2012 CIA Middle School launched the new Cheerleading squad and had an incredible season. These athletes added so much energy to the games, pep rallies, and to the school in general. Whether it was posters somewhere on campus, new chants and cheers, or the performance of a new dance, the Cheerleaders showed school spirit and proudly supported the teams.
Lauren Rosen and Lauren Pruett were elected as our captains, and both of them showed true leadership skills. Helen Brown was always ahead of the game when it came to learning new material. Issy Hall, Allie Hartge, and Kirsten Hrynewich brought such great energy and a positive attitude that was contagious! Mary Carlson Hunter, Carson McConnel, and Jennifer Kovach showed great perseverance and learned so much about this sport, supporting their team members in a big way. Natasha Rollins, Katie McIntyre, and Ellen Niarhos were solid team-mates, always ready to perform and eager to support the team with enthusiasm.
What a great first season for these talented young ladies! It was a pleasure coaching them, and I believe it was an incredible opportunity for them to express themselves in yet another exciting way.
