Ahlstrand Receives TN Athletic Award

Christian Ahlstrand was recognized Monday evening as the 2018 Tennessee Scholarship Award Recipient by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrator's Association/Tennessee Interscholastic Athletic Administrator's Association (NIAAA/TIAAA).
Nearly 500 Athletic Directors in the state are open to submitting nominees for this scholarship and 1 boy and 1 girl are selected.  
Christian was nominated for this award by Athletic Director Kelly Fish. He received a plaque an $500 award. He will advance to the Southeast Section. 
 
The purpose of the NIAAA is to promote, facilitate and increase the knowledge and understanding of the vital role of interscholastic athletics in the educational system. The scholarship program fosters and recognizes the partnership between the NIAAA and secondary education. The scholarships recognize the distinguished scholastic, leadership and sportsmanship attributes of high school student-athletes and the importance of high school athletics in each student’s life.
