Mustang Athletics is an educational-based athletics program that provides a competitive and safe environment. Offering both individual and team sports to students in grades K-12, all students are encouraged to participate.

Currey Ingram Academy is proud to announce that senior Peyton Solley has been named a Semifinalist by the National Merit Scholarship Program.
As a student at Currey Ingram Academy, Peyton has demonstrated his talents in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields. He took AP Calculus last year as a junior through the rigorous One Schoolhouse online program, scoring a 4 on the AP Calculus BC exam and a 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam. This summer, he participated in the Lipscomb Engineering Summer Scholars Program and received the Mr. Summer Scholar, awarded to the person who best embodies the program. Peyton received a NorthFace backpack.
He also participated in the National Student Leadership Conference at Georgia Tech the summer after sophomore year. He is a National Honor Society member and runs cross country for the Mustangs. And recently Upper School students have benefitted from his STEM skills after he designed and built two benches and planter for the entrance to the Upper School as part of his Eagle Scout project.

About the National Merit Scholarship Program
The National Merit® Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) – a test which serves as an initial screen of more than 1.5 million entrants each year – and by meeting published program entry/participation requirements.
To be considered for a National Merit® Scholarship, Semifinalists must advance to Finalist standing in the competition by meeting high academic standards set by the National Merit® Scholarship Program.
