When did you attend Currey Ingram Academy, and what year did you graduate?
I started attending CIA in the late 1990s when it was called Westminster School of Nashville. I graduated from CIA in 2006. I was in one of the first graduating classes from
CIA, and experienced having classes in the "cottages."  I loved it because we were able to paint the walls in all of our classrooms! 
 
What is your most memorable experience from CIA?
My most memorable experiences were the class trips I got to take while at CIA.  During the class trips, I got to know my fellow classmates better and also got to hang out with all the teachers and learn more about them.  We went to many different places like Chicago, Gatlinburg, Chattanooga, and Disney.   
 
What is your current involvement with CIA?
I visit and keep in touch. I would like to be more involved in the future by helping students find their passions and strengths through experiential education and team building in nature.
 
What is one piece of advice you would give to current Currey Ingram students?
My advice would be to remember to develop close relationships with your teachers beyond the academic realm and to take advantages of all the extracurricular activities and clubs. These really help you find your interests and passions and also help you develop close relationships.

What did CIA do for you?
It gave me a strong foundation for the future. 
 
Please elaborate on your academic / social experiences at CIA and then in college.
I was at CIA during its early years, and I feel I was part of its development and growth.  I was in the first CIA theatre production, and I was very involved with all aspects of theatre.  I really liked the small classes. I felt at home at CIA, and the teachers were so cool -- flexible, caring, fun, understanding and creative.  They taught to our unique learning styles -- the ways we could learn, not a standard way.  In college, I went to Lynn University in Florida where the classes were also relatively small, and I developed close relationships with my professors and my fellow students.  
 
What has been the most interesting and exciting thing you’ve done thus far in your life?
I have had the opportunity to travel to many international places while I was in college and after such as South East Asia, New Zealand, and South America.
 
Where did you graduate from in college, and why did you choose that college?
I went to Lynn University because of its size, personal touch, the location and the campus.  I graduated in 2010 with a degree in Psychology. 
 
What are your future plans?
I want to be a director of programs in the field of experiential education to help people find their strengths and passions. I want to pursue a masters degree in experiential education or recreation administration.
